Karnataka: DK Shivakumar assures review of Bengaluru metro fare hike

Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar will discuss the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited fare revision. The revision was made without his consultation. He plans to review the financial structure. An annual automatic fare revision will be implemented from February 9, 2026. This will lead to marginal increases across fare zones. Shivakumar also addressed aspirations for Chief Minister.
