Mumbai's app-based taxi, auto drivers to observe day-long strike

A union of app-based taxi and autorickshaw drivers observed a nationwide one-day strike on Saturday, raising demands including relief over the cost of installing panic buttons. The Maharashtra Kamgar Sabha said the protest is also against illegal bike taxi services and fare policies of ride-hailing platforms such as Ola, Uber and Rapido.
