SC gives last opportunity to Telangana speaker to decide on disqualification pleas against BRS MLAs

The Supreme Court has issued a stern warning to the Telangana Assembly speaker. Contempt proceedings will commence if the speaker fails to decide on the disqualification pleas of ten BRS MLAs within three weeks. These MLAs had defected to the Congress party. The court emphasized the urgency of the matter. A decision is expected soon.
