Actor Vijay row: Madras HC dismisses TVK chief's challenge to Rs 1.50 crore tax penalty

The Madras High Court has dismissed a petition filed by TVK chief Vijay. He challenged an income tax department order demanding a Rs 1.50 crore penalty. The penalty relates to alleged non-disclosure of additional income earned in the financial year 2015-16. Vijay had filed the petition in 2022. Orders were reserved last month.
