US military says it killed two people in strike on suspected drug vessel in Eastern Pacific

The U.S. military said it killed two people in a strike on a suspected drug-trafficking vessel in the Eastern Pacific on Thursday. It said intelligence confirmed the vessel was moving along known narcotics routes and was involved in trafficking operations, and added that no U.S. forces were harmed.
