Mega Rafale deal set to get DAC nod

India is set to discuss a major deal for 114 more Rafale fighter jets. The Defence Acquisition Council will review the proposal next week. This acquisition is expected to receive approval just before French President Emmanuel Macron's visit to India. The Defence Procurement Board has already cleared the deal. Following this, technical and commercial negotiations will commence.
