Sony hikes guidance on strong games, music performance

Japanese giant Sony on Thursday hiked its full-year net profit forecast thanks to strong performances in its video games and music divisions. The firm expects net profit of 1.13 trillion yen ($7.2 billion) in the 2025-26 fiscal year, up from its previous projection of 1.05 trillion yen given in November, it said in a statement.
