Amazon ties up with IIT Roorkee to develop packaging material from agri waste

Amazon India is partnering with IIT Roorkee to create new packaging materials. These will be made from agricultural waste, offering a sustainable alternative to wood pulp and plastic. The project aims to develop lightweight, strong, and compostable mailers. This initiative could also benefit farmers by creating a market for their crop residues.
