Wind advisory for Malibu and Eastern Santa Monica Mountains Recreational area for Wednesday – gusts to hit 45 mph

Malibu and Eastern Santa Monica Mountains Recreational area are under a wind advisory which was released by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 5:01 p.m. The advisory is valid for Wednesday, Feb. 4 between 4 a.m. and 2 p.m.

“North winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected,” the NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA said. “Travel on area roadways may be affected by gusty cross winds. Roadways affected may include the Pacific Coast Highway and canyon roads.”

“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects.
