High surf advisory issued for Bay Area Shorelines for Friday and Saturday – waves of 17 to 22 feet predicted

Coastal North Bay including Point Reyes National Seashore, San Francisco Peninsula Coast, Northern Monterey Bay and Southern Monterey Bay and Big Sur Coast as well as San Francisco County are under a high surf advisory which was issued by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 6:22 p.m. The advisory is valid from Friday 4 a.m. until Saturday Feb. 7, at 9 p.m.
