Winter Storm Warning Map Shows States Bracing for Up to 7 Inches of New Snow

On Tuesday, Feb. 4, the National Weather Service (NWS) issued a new round of winter storm warnings expected to bring up to seven inches of snow to a handful of states.

On top of the snow, areas of the U.S. are bracing for another round of arctic cold, taking temperatures to subzero levels for millions of Americans.

"A significant arctic outbreak will bring bitterly cold temperatures and dangerous wind chills to the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic this weekend," the NWS's Weather Prediction Center announced on Monday, Feb.
