Junior engineer, associate arrested for taking Rs 20k bribe

A junior engineer from Tata Power and his associate were apprehended by vigilance sleuths in Malkangiri for allegedly accepting a Rs 20,000 bribe. The duo demanded the payment from a brick kiln owner to facilitate an electricity connection for his unit. The entire bribe amount was recovered, and further searches are underway.
