NPP splits in Manipur as ex-state chief Yumnam Joykumar Singh launches NPP (Tera Lai)

The National People's Party faces a split in Manipur. Former state president Yumnam Joykumar Singh has launched a new regional party, NPP (Tera Lai). The party plans to contest around 27 assembly seats in the 2027 elections. Several former MLAs and popular leaders attended the launch. More leaders are expected to join as the election approaches.
