Tottenham and Chelsea both called Brazilian playmaker before £35.5m transfer
An attacking midfielder, who departed the Premier League on Saturday, has revealed that Tottenham were interested in signing him.
At the start of the January window, it was reported that Tottenham were tracking a whole host of attackers across Europe.
It was widely claimed that strengthening their attack would be Tottenham’s top priority this month.
However, despite losing the likes of Lucas Bergvall, Mohammed Kudus and Richarlison to injuries, the Lilywhites have been unable to add to their forward options.
