Driver killed after trailer truck plunges from bridge into river

A trailer truck driver from Punjab was killed and his helper critically injured after their vehicle plunged into the Shankh river near Jamunanaki early Monday. The cargo-less truck reportedly lost control, broke through a bridge barricade, and fell into the water. Police are investigating the cause and attempting to retrieve the vehicle.
