Registrations for new National Guard recruits to open in April

Registration for teenagers starting their military service this summer will open in April, the defence ministry said on Monday.

The platform will allow conscripts to express their choices for deployment across branches of the National Guard, as part of the selection and allocation process. Teens will not be required to create a profile again.

The defence ministry said complete guidelines for 2026 ESSO conscripts will be published before the platform opens.
