Queen’s leave capital with all three points

A cold afternoon in the capital saw Queen’s Park make the away trip to face Boroughmuir Thistle in SWPL2 action. Head coach Ross Stormonth chose to name an unchanged side from the one that secured victory against Dundee United a week prior.

A slow start to the game from both sides, it took a while for both sides to get into the swing of things. Queen’s were the first to threaten at goal as they attempted to use the wide areas and make the most of Sophie Rutherford’s pace however good defending from the hosts stopped her in her tracks.
