Power Grid Corp raises FY26 capex forecast to Rs 32,000 cr from earlier Rs 28,000 cr

Power Grid Corporation of India has increased its capital expenditure forecast for the current financial year to Rs 32,000 crores, up from Rs 28,000 crores, driven by strong execution visibility. The company secured seven Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding contracts in FY26, including a significant transmission project for Uttar Pradesh's Pumped Storage Projects.
