'How to Train Your Dragon 2' Cast Revealed: 7 Stars Confirmed to Return & 3 Actors Join Sequel, So Far

The How to Train Your Dragon live-action sequel is officially in production!

Filmmaker Dean DeBlois‘ second installment was confirmed months before the first live-action adaptation hit theaters, and he’ll return as writer, director and executive producer.

Last week, Dean confirmed they were back in action to start work on the sequel.

“Back in the saddle! Day 1 of principal photography on HTTYD2! ???? The adventure begins…….. ???? ????,” he shared on Instagram, along with a pic of himself with a clapperboard.
