Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis got a direct challenge from a congressman Sunday.

The Democrats this weekend flipped a highly watched seat in deep red Texas, despite Donald Trump's strong endorsement, in a move that is expected to send shockwaves through the Republican party.

In that contest, Taylor Rehmet, a union leader, prevailed against the Trump-endorsed Republican.

Dem Congressman Ted Lieu, who recently spoke out about a video purportedly showing misconduct by ICE agents, was emboldened by the victory.
