Budget 2026: Govt to upgrade allied health institutions, train 1 lakh professionals

The government plans to boost healthcare by upgrading allied health institutions and training one lakh professionals over five years. Caregiver training will also expand. Five regional hubs will be established to promote medical tourism. New Ayurveda institutes and upgrades to AYUSH facilities are also planned to meet global demand.
