Illegal canopies on Coventry shopping parades come under fire

Huge canopies on the front of shops in Foleshill Road and Stoney Stanton Road could be a thing of the past if they don't have the correct planning permission according to a leading city councillor. Coventry City Council's cabinet member for housing and communities, Cllr Naeem Akhtar, said enforcement officers were currently looking at the issue.
