The Finance Minister unveiled the Union Budget 2026. However, salaried and middle class looked for any relief in the income tax slabs for the upcoming financial year 2026-27. Currently, the highest tax rate of 30% is applicable if the taxable income exceeds Rs 24 lakh and income is exempted up to Rs 4 lakh in financial year in the new tax regime.
