59-Vehicle Car Crash in Central California Shuts Down a Busy Highway with Multiple Injuries Reported
California Highway Patrol has confirmed that 59 vehicles were involved in a massive pile-up on a busy highway in central California this weekend.
The incident reportedly occurred on Saturday morning (January 31) at around 8:15am, in both northbound and southbound lanes of Highway 99. The crash happened in Tulare County, which is about 40 miles north of Bakersfield.
