Missouri stays hot at home, fends off Mississippi State

Mark Mitchell had 19 points, seven rebounds and four assists to lead Missouri past Mississippi State 84-76 on Saturday afternoon in Columbia, Mo.

T.O. Barrett had 16 points, eight rebounds and four assists as the Tigers (15-7, 5-4 Southeastern Conference) improved to 13-2 at home this season.

Trent Pierce scored 13 points for Missouri and Jayden Stone added 11.

Jayden Epps scored 23 points and Josh Hubbard posted 22 as the Bulldogs (11-11, 3-6) suffered their sixth loss in seven games.
