Coordinated attacks in Pakistan kill 10 security personnel and dozens of insurgents

Multiple coordinated attacks struck southern Pakistan early Saturday. Assailants targeted a high-security prison, police stations, and paramilitary sites. At least ten security personnel were killed. Thirty-seven insurgents also died in the ensuing gunbattles. Prison inmates were freed in one incident. Train services were suspended. Authorities blamed separatist groups for the violence.
