Eugene Levy Pays Tribute to Catherine O'Hara After Her Death at 71: 'Words Seem Inadequate'

Eugene Levy is remembering Catherine O’Hara.

On Friday (January 30), the 79-year-old actor, who played Catherine‘s onscreen husband Johnny Rose in the hit series Schitt’s Creek, mourned the loss of his longtime friend after she died at the age of 71.

“Words seem inadequate to express the loss I feel today,” Eugene said in a statement shared with Variety.

Continuing, he wrote, “I had the honor of knowing and working with the great Catherine O’Hara for over fifty years.
