Lindsey Vonn Crashes in Final Race Before Olympics: Will She Be Able to Compete Despite Injury?

Lindsey Vonn is facing an injury just one week ahead of the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Games.

The 41-year-old American skier, who is planning on making her big Olympic comeback this year, crashed and injured herself while competing in the World Cup downhill race on Friday (January 30) in Crans-Montana, Switzerland.

Vonn injured her left knee during the final race of the competition and she was the third skier to crash there.
