Pan masala without nicotine, tobacco not under scanner: Govt

Odisha's health department has clarified that pan masala without tobacco or nicotine is not banned, relieving shopkeepers and traders. This clarification follows a recent state-wide prohibition on all food products containing tobacco or nicotine, aimed at curbing health risks associated with smokeless tobacco, which affects over 42% of adults in the state.
