Fire brigade probe overnight car blaze in Episkopi

The fire brigade and the police have launched an investigation into the causes of a vehicle fire which broke out in the early hours of Friday in Episkopi.

Fire brigade spokesman Andreas Kettis said the incident was reported at around 1.40am, when authorities were alerted to a car which was on fire outside its owner’s residence.

Firefighters responded to the scene and managed to bring the blaze under control by approximately 2.20am.
