Investment of Rs 13,700 crore takes up mobile phone production of Rs 9.34 lakh crore: Economic Survey

India's electronics sector is booming. A mobile manufacturing incentive scheme has spurred massive production and exports. Electronics production grew significantly in FY'25, with exports also rising sharply. The sector is on track to become a top export category. Mobile manufacturing has seen a huge jump. India is also focusing on semiconductors to build domestic capacity and reduce import reliance.
