Delhi court acquits L-G Saxena in decades-old defamation case

A Delhi court has acquitted Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena in a defamation case. Activist Medha Patkar had filed the case 25 years ago. The court stated that Patkar failed to prove her charges. This legal battle began in 2000. Saxena had also filed cases against Patkar. The court dismissed Patkar's plea to examine additional witnesses earlier.
