VOC Port forms joint venture with Tamil Nadu govt to set up shipbuilding cluster at Tuticorin

V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority has formed a special purpose vehicle for a mega shipbuilding cluster at Tuticorin. This joint venture with SIPCOT aims to boost India's commercial shipbuilding and repair capabilities. The initiative supports the Union Cabinet's scheme to expand domestic shipbuilding capacity and advance maritime infrastructure across the nation.
