Today’s weather: Cloudy with local rains

On Thursday, the weather will remain cloudy with local rains and storm expected mainly in the western part of the island.

Sleet and snow are expected in the Troodos area, with snow depth measuring 23 centimetres in the morning.

Temperatures will rise to around 19 degrees on the coast, 18 degrees inland and around 7 degrees in the higher mountains.

Winds will blow from the south to northwest at up to 4 Beaufort, gradually turning southerly and increasing to 5 Beaufort.
