Chicago's snowplow naming contest hijacked with avalanche of anti-ICE submissions
Resident of the Windy City lashed out at the Trump administration with a staggering number of submissions for an innocent snowplow naming contest, taking direct aim at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
For the fourth annual snowplow naming battle, a whopping 80 percent of the roughly 13,000 submissions contained anti-ICE sentiment, according to Block Club Chicago, which filed a public records request for a list of submissions.
