SDP leader Tuppurainen denies claims of inappropriate conduct

Tytti Tuppurainen, chair of the Social Democratic Party’s (SDP) parliamentary group, has rejected allegations of inappropriate behaviour towards assistants and MPs, following reports by Finnish media citing multiple anonymous sources. She said the claims were false and damaging and stated she would not step down from her position.

Speaking at a press conference at the Parliament on Wednesday, Tuppurainen said the claims published by the Finnish News Agency STT were inaccurate and offensive.
