Bengaluru: Classical music fest to open at Chowdiah Hall on Feb 5

Bengaluru hosts a four-day Indian classical music festival starting February 5 at Chowdiah Memorial Hall. The 17th edition, themed 'Purana Gitam', features daily evening concerts. Renowned vocalists and ensembles will perform. The festival honors violin maestros Ganesh and Kumaresh with the Samagana Mathanga award. It also recognizes young vocalist Spoorthi Rao with the Samagana Vasantha award.
