Numaligarh Refinery capacity expansion to be completed by year end: Oil India chairman

Numaligarh Refinery Ltd will soon process imported crude oil. This follows its capacity expansion to nine million tonnes per annum. The project is set for completion by the end of the year. Imported crude will arrive via Paradip Port. A new pipeline connects the port to Numaligarh. This expansion will meet fuel demand in eastern and northeastern India.
