Rape victim’s father seeks ban on film

The father of a minor rape and murder victim has approached the Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha. He is demanding a ban on an upcoming Odia film. The film is reportedly based on his daughter's tragic case. He claims it was made without his consent. The case is currently pending in the High Court.
