Vejrgang defends FC Pro Open title

January 27 – Anders Vejrgang has reinforced his position at the top of competitive EA Sports FC by successfully defending his FC Pro Open title, completing a rare back-to-back run in one of the esports circuit’s most open and unforgiving tournaments. 

The Danish world number one’s route to the trophy included a quarter-final win over reigning FC Pro World Champion Manu Bachoore, a semi-final victory against Levi de Weerd, and a composed 4–1 dismissal of eChampions League holder Emre Yilmaz in the final.
