Assam: Only 467 illegal foreigners repatriated out of 1.7 lakh declared, says Guv

Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya reported that out of 1.7 lakh declared illegal foreigners, only 467 have been repatriated. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma urged voters to choose development over 'vote bank politics' and to resist 'Bangladeshi Muslims' who he claims threaten the state's identity and culture.
