Maharashtra cabinet clears PM SETU scheme rollout in ITIs, contractor payment relief

The Maharashtra cabinet has approved the PM SETU scheme for Industrial Training Institutes to boost skill development and youth employment. Initially rolled out in Nagpur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, and Pune, the program aims to modernize ITIs and facilitate job placements. Additionally, the cabinet approved using the TReDS platform for contractor payments and the revival of a cooperative spinning mill.
