The next round of M5 Macs is reportedly ‘ready to go’

Several reports have built up 2026 as a big year for Mac releases, and we’ve entered the fourth full week of January with nothing to show so far. But the floodgates could be opening soon. In his latest Power On newsletter, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports that, “We’re going to see things kicking off here in the not-too-distant future.”

Gurman referred to the MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Mac Studio, and a new display as “ready to go,” though he didn’t get more specific.
