PVR INOX sells snacking brand 4700BC to Marico for Rs 226.8 crore

PVR Inox has divested its entire stake in popcorn brand 4700BC to Marico Limited for INR 226.8 crore in an all-cash deal. This strategic move allows PVR Inox to focus on its core cinema exhibition business and strengthen its balance sheet. Marico aims to leverage its FMCG expertise to expand 4700BC's reach and product offerings.
