Shubhanshu Shukla awarded Ashoka Chakra on India’s 77th Republic Day
Republic Day: Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla received the Ashoka Chakra on Republic Day. He is India's second space visitor. Shukla became the first Indian to visit the International Space Station in 2025. He flew as pilot on the Axiom Space Ax-4 mission. This historic achievement earned him the nation's highest peacetime gallantry award.
