Don’t focus on the AI race, says former UK PM Rishi Sunak in conversation with Microsoft’s Satya Nadella

The conversation took place at the World Economic Forum in Davos and was moderated by Dan Roth, editor-in-chief of LinkedIn. Nadella pointed out that history shows general-purpose technologies create real value only when they are widely adopted across the economy, and that for AI, this will require governments and companies to work together to build the necessary infrastructure, from energy to data centres, and enable businesses and citizens to use it.
