Oilers score late goal to force OT, rally past Capitals
Zach Hyman tied the game with 32 seconds left in regulation and Connor McDavid scored 46 seconds into overtime to lift the Edmonton Oilers to a 6-5 win against the visiting Washington Capitals on Saturday night.
Evan Bouchard sent McDavid in on a breakaway and he lifted the puck past Washington goaltender Charlie Lindgren.
Bouchard had a hat trick and three assists, and McDavid had two goals and three assists for the Oilers. Leon Draisaitl (three assists) had missed four consecutive games after taking a leave of absence on Jan.
