Kokomo Murase Is The First Women To Put Down a 1620 In A Contest

When an X Games sideline reporter asked Mia Brookes if she was looking to win a gold medal in every event she competed in, she was brutally honest. As long as Kokomo Murase had that 1620 in her bag, no one was taking Big Air except for her.

She was right.

Murase put down a backside 1620 in Saturday's X Games Big Air contest, and stomped it. It launched her into first place with a score of 96.66. She never relinquished that top spot.

The win is Murase's fifth X Games gold medal.
