Cancer survivor provides psychosocial support to other patients

Senior journalist Aswini Kumar Darjee, a cervical gland cancer survivor since 2007, founded the 'Fighters Group' in 2017 to provide psychosocial support to cancer patients and their families. The group, now with 154 direct members, addresses the fear and financial challenges faced by survivors, advocating for their employment and dreaming of establishing a shelter home for patients undergoing treatment.
