Jun’ai Byfield reveals why he confronted player 11 years his senior on Tottenham debut

Jun’ai Byfield has opened up on making his Tottenham Hotspur debut and has shed light on an interesting moment he was involved in against Borussia Dortmund.

The 17-year-old, who has been named a few times on the bench this season, was thrown on by Thomas Frank on 63 minutes against Dortmund after Lucas Bergvall was forced off with an injury.

Byfield, who slotted in at right-back, looked calm and composed, and Thomas Frank praised the youngster for the way he handled the pressure of the occasion.
